A wonderfully designed book with short concise chapters, short church testimonies from the congregation at Breathe City Church in Stoke on Trent, and an insight of how you build and grow a church and how it could be done in other places too, though to a degree this is not the purpose of the book. It’s not a blueprint or step by step guide, rather it is an insight into how God has worked in one situation and amongst the people active there and how the author, James Galloway, one of the lead pastors of that church believes that in so doing God has shared some insights that others can benefit from too. I guess if I had to call this book anything I would class it as a testimony of a church, and that is a wonderful thing. Interspersed with this testimony and teaching is also some great biblical insight and even some pastoral counselling insight too – all good foundations for any church and any testimonial. For anyone interested in church planting or looking for new insights to help repurpose their church this book would be a really good read.

A must read book for any leader wanting to re-purpose church. Putting the cultural pillars at the centre of any organisation would radically change it's culture.
