God’s presence never abandons us, though we often veer from Him. We see this truth as the Israelites faced exile because of their sin. When the Israelites repented, returned to the land, and the temple was rebuilt, God again proved worthy of our trust and faith. As the Old Testament draws to a close, your preschoolers and kids will see how repentance opens the door for restoration with God.
