45 Minutes to Salvation

Terry Waller became an unwitting author when her husband Bill unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord in September of 2021. The manner in which he died left her with deep grief and an unusual story of his, theirs and others to share.

Bill, a California-born and Air-Force-raised man, and Terry, a New York girl, married on September 3, 2001. If you were to ask any family member or friend, they would tell you that they were best friends and inseparable. Everyone admired the Christ-centered relationship they shared. Although it was a second marriage for Terry and she had already been blessed with three amazing sons, the years she and Bill shared were truly wonderful and heaven-sent. Then came the most precious blessings...the grandbabies!

Prior to meeting Terry, Bill had made the decision to make a legal stand regarding taxes, which ended in his serving jail time. Thus began the difficult yet God-led journey which ended in their separation and ultimate tragedy, and the beginning of a new journey for Terry and completing this book-a collection of amazing salvation stories that took place between Bill and the men he transported during the 45-minute drive to their freedom.

Terry now carries on from the home she shared with Bill in Las Vegas. Her vision moving forward is to continue to share the love of Jesus Christ, which is what Bill strived for ever since he met Jesus on October 17, 1994. Terry's prayer is that Bill's legacy and the testimonies of the lives he touched will carry on for generations to come.
