At a routine scan during Beth's third pregnancy, concerns were raised about her baby's health and further tests revealed the presence of a life-limiting genetic condition.

Consultants were convinced this baby was too small to survive and diagnosed a range of heartbreaking abnormalities.

This book tracks the incredible way God brought encouragement through His Word and the church as the author journeyed through the valley of the shadow of death, ending with an extraordinary outcome nobody had predicted.

This book is such an emotional rollercoaster I had to read the entire thing in one go - I couldn’t not know what was going to happen next by putting it down. I had the luxury of being able to read the next chapter immediately whereas for the Beth and Paul (the author and her husband) had to wait weeks and months to know (or not know) what to expect with the birth of their third child. I wept through most of it. What parents have to go through when faced with devastating news, the repeated traumatic moments inadvertently caused by some of the medical profession, but more importantly the faith we can have in God during these valley seasons made this such a compelling read.
