What most people don't know or understand, is how these pathetic looking horses, often referred to as "useless" by their former owners, have helped heal the broken hearts and souls of so many hurting kids and adults. When given a second chance at a new life and being on the receiving end of love and kindness vs. cruelty and abuse, these rescue horses give back, in so many ways.
