Product Description
Defining moments in life are seldom planned. Three years without electricity, and longer without running water was never the idea; it just happened as a curious part of Roger and Jeanie Staub's move from a new home in suburban Phoenix to homestead 20 acres in rural Northwest Arkansas. With their sons, Steve and Michael, the Staub's built their cabin with hand tools and a chain saw. Though challenging, the adventure was sweetened by a rich diversity of experiences with the land, the animals, the country folk, and the quiet way of life along the dirt roads. This little collection chronicles some of those experiences and introduces some other interesting people and remarkable happenings.
