I'm revealing these distractors so that everyone can see them for what they are and from where they draw us. Let me make something abundantly clear. Distraction is not aimlessly wandering. There is aim in distraction. The purpose of distraction is simply to aim away from something else. That process is not aimless. If you're aiming away from something or someone, your aim is merely at a bigger target that's easier to hit. It's difficult to take the road less traveled and to focus.
