For readers with multi-faith leanings and sympathies this will be a gold mine and a wealth of wisdom that has blended learning from several religious disciplines – particularly Buddhism & Hinduism. For the more orthodox and evangelical minded Christian this will challenge sensibilities with overt and significant syncretistic leanings, and support for panentheism (God is in everything). With conclusions such as “Jesus did not rise because ‘he was God’ but because he was fully human” many would treat the other observations raised with caution.
