Before we begin with the topic of the great judgments of God, I would like to explain the views, the manner, and the reason this book is outlined. Any person who has read or dealt with eschatology (end-times study) knows just how diversely it can be taught, understood, and subsequently believed. It is the intention of this book to formulate as neutral a take on the happenings surrounding the judgments found within the pages of the Bible. It is not so much my objective to explain neither the expansive timeline of dispensationalism, nor the validity of a millennium view, as anyone who has come across either camp has undoubtedly found out how dogmatic they can be.

We all come into prophetic studies with preconceived notions on how, in particular the book of Revelation, should be understood. In order to stay as neutral as possible, I needed to withdraw from each theological "camp" and at times, it might get a little confusing and unsightly. (Hey, don't blame me; I didn't come up with any of the four main eschatological views.) As we go along, I will add information on each camp when the need arises. I will not go into detail unless it is absolutely necessary. The goal of this book is not to compare and contrast the different opinions and rivalries within Christianity. There are already enough of those for you to read. The goal of this book instead is to describe the different judgments that come up in the Bible. The important issue shouldn't be, is the Judgment Seat of Christ before or after the millennium reign? Or is there even an actual, physical millennium? The important issue ought to be, and in fact is, where will each soul be at the end of days: on the side of Christ or standing opposed to Him?
