Drawing directly from life experiences and scriptural principles, Candy demonstrates doable steps for finding a purposeful path through the pauses of challenging circumstances. Chapter 5 alone (“Praising Despite the Wait”) is worth the price of the book. I found myself underlining, highlighting, and starring several passages which emphasize the practice of praising God while waiting. It's a relief to be reminded how to shift my focus, gain new perspective, and mine for hidden gems during life pauses. This book is a treasure I will share with others and refer to often.
