Payton Watson has everything going for him. He's a handsome high school senior and a star basketball player. He's popular and well-liked by all his friends. Although an awesome basketball player, he dreams of becoming a sports physician. His biggest worries are whether or not to focus more on basketball or start working toward his dream. He comes from a stable loving and God-fearing home and believes that one day, he will have a loving relationship and family of his own. With not so much to worry about, Payton has his life under control, and he expects the remainder of his senior year to be as smooth as silk, or so he thought.

Unexpected encounters with a stranger from his mother's past, suspicious phone calls, and things heating up at home begin to disrupt his life. And when the stranger gets too close to his family, Payton decides to take matters into his own hands. His priority is to protect his family, and he will do whatever it takes to make sure his family stays safe.
