The author was born with a neuromuscular condition, a form of muscular dystrophy. For the first twenty-five years of her life, she didn't know why she had weakness and lack of ability until a muscle biopsy confirmed the results. But that didn't stop her from being the best mother and wife that she could be.

She had strayed away from the church and prayer in her younger years, but a terrible accident brought her to the realization that she needed God back in her life if she was going to survive.
