    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

The author of this slim volume is caring for her husband who suffers from dementia, so her words come from the heart. Each chapter consists of a Bible verse and a meditation based around that verse, followed by a prayer and ending with a 'self-care suggestion'. I think this book would be a big help to many carers, not least because it would reassure them that their reactions, emotions and frustrations are 'normal' in their situation. Now that I have read it, I am going to send it to a friend who is caring for her husband with Alzheimer’s. If she has the time to let me have her comments, I will add them to this review.
