God has much to say about how we ought to live in the midst of life's demands, responsibilities, and opportunities. Through the lives of Martha, Saul, Moses, David, Haggai, and Jesus, Overcoming Busyness examines how God would have us address busyness and find our rest in him.

At times, this may mean:

• Surrendering our desires
• Rejecting our false expectations
• Choosing service over being served

• Waiting for God's direction

  Overcoming Busyness is not a self-help, 10-step program designed to erase the daily responsibilities, pressures, and busyness of life. Instead, it is meant to help us navigate the many demands pulling on our lives through God's wisdom and strength. As we invite him into the whole of our lives, we can be certain that he will direct our way forward. God will give us all that we need to both endure and to rest.
