Undoubtedly most Christian books are helpful. But occasionally you come across a book or an author of whom you can genuinely say "this is a life changer". For me this is one such book. I had never heard of the author until I was lent this title by a friend. Immediately I finished it I ordered my own copy and am currently reading it for the fourth and certainly not the last time. It was published in 2000 and I wish I had come across it 20 years ago. If you are thinking of buying it - hesitate no longer! (But better buy two copies, because you'll certainly want to lend it out, and you probably won't want to part with your only copy.)
