This book is a rich devotional resource as it follows the sacred rhythms of the day from Matins or Vigils to Compline or Night Prayer. Seven times in the day we are invited to pause, even for a brief moment, to reflect and say a prayer. Although written by a Benedictine sister, it is still possible for the lay person to make these pauses part of the daily practice of devotion.
