The Lambeth Conference in 2008 has included a ‘listening process’ where people hear the views of others and listen to the experience of homosexual people.

This book includes items from all parts of the world, from individuals and groups, to give a spectrum of views under 8 different chapter headings. Background information on homosexuality, advice on the progress of dialogue and case studies are included.

    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

I was pleasantly surprised with The Anglican Communion and Homosexuality, and also relieved. Too much of what is written about the issue of homosexuality is driven by polemic and tainted by political argument. The Anglican Communion and Homosexuality is not. It is, as much as is possible, a review of the theological and scientific arguments from both sides of the debate. The editor and contributors have done a great job of distilling the various arguments into a readable format. Yes there are areas which could be developed further and more questions are raised than are answered, but as a tool to start people listening and thinking about the issue, or for those who just need information without the hype The Anglican Communion and Homosexuality is one of the best starting points I have come across.
