Christopher C. H. Cook is a Professional Research Fellow in the Department of Theology and Religion at Durham University. He trained at St. George’s Hospital Medical School, London, and has worked in the psychiatry of substance misuse for 22 years. He worked as Professor of the psychiatry of Alcohol Misuse at the University of Kent from 1997 to 2003. He was ordained as an Anglican priest in Canterbury Cathedral in 2001. He is interested in spirituality, theology and mental health, and has published a book on Alcohol, Addiction and Christian Ethics.
