    Product Description

Ten years ago there were only a few hundred Jewish Christians in Israel. Today, that figure is over 10,000 and the number is growing rapidly. Some of the leading Messianic believers are starting to look to the future and turn their attention to passages in the Bible that talk about the role of Israel in the future being a light to the world. A number of Jewish believers are emerging who are passionate, fearless evangelists. The stories told in this book feature some of those who are turning their attention to the Arab world in particular. Who are these people? How are they going about their 'mission' and why are they so passionate to share their faith in the God of Israel with Arabs?

    Israel’s New Disciples

This book will come as a surprise to many. It is the account of the conversion to Christianity of many thousands of Israeli Jews over the past ten years. Their Christianity takes a particularly messianic form with great emphasis on the Old Testament and God’s promises to fulfill his purposes for his people Israel. The author, Julia Fisher, relates a series of personal testimonies of Jews who have converted to Christianity and have embraced Jesus Christ. They have inevitably come up against antagonism and hatred from their orthodox neighbours but have persevered nevertheless. There are fourteen individual stories told in the convert’s own words, and each is a moving and fascinating account of a difficult but fulfilling struggle to recognise and accept the truth. Highly recommended.
