Isaac Liu, son of Chinese evangelist Brother Yun of bestselling biography The Heavenly Man, recounts growing up in Communist China with a father who was an enemy of the state. Isaac being born at all was in itself a miracle as his mother was ordered to abort him during a term of his father’s imprisonment. The reason given that the unborn child was of an ‘illegal’ preacher.
