The Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, in the year 2021 presented his vision of the Legacy of Hope project to all the faithful of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra.
As part of this project, the Archdiocese has come up with its maiden catechetical legacy for posterity, dubbed "The Bonaventure" Lenten Challenge. This book, which is a collective authorship from some priests and religious working in the Archdiocese, is a spiritual companion for your Lenten pilgrimage. "A Bonaventure" is a good deed done in the name of the Lord. Thus, "The Bonaventure" Lenten Challenge entails good deeds and spiritual thoughts that helps us to sanctify each day of Lent. As St. James says, "But someone will say, 'You have faith; I have deeds.' Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds" (Jam 2:18).
Leave behind a spiritual legacy and it will be a Legacy of Hope!
