'Twenty-Four' is designed for Christians everywhere to gain an exciting new perspective on all parts of their lives.

It works through a normal day: getting up, commuting, working, shopping, cooking, family, fun, exercise and sleeping. Each chapter is filled with illustrations from modern culture and the biblical viewpoint on each area is considered. Through Krish Kandiah's thoughtful and original teaching we see how to serve and worship our amazing God in each of these.

    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

The title refers to the amount of hours in the day we should have God at the forefront of our minds, and the book is an exploration of what this might look like in practice, with chapters on different activities such as commuting and work, shopping and family, exercise and rest. I wouldn't recommend reading the entire thing inside twenty-four consecutive hours – I did this for review purposes and was left feeling decidedly inadequate and unholy! Don't be put off, though; this is a thoroughly interesting read, couched in Krish’s usual uncomplicated style, as always challenging and thought-provoking but leavened with disarming tales from his own experience. A good companion volume to the excellent ‘Dysciples’ by the same author.
