    I found this book by Christopher Ash outstanding. Taking short passages from Luke's Gospel for each day of Advent. he brings new light into words which are very familiar and lifts facts to a deeper and challenging spiritual level. It is truly 'inspired' by the Holy Spirit and written in a user-friendly way for today's world. Highly recommended.
