I purchased the e-book a few years ago, and found Jim's matter-of-fact, logical and unapologetic approach to apologetics something I could finally embrace without embarrassment, when talking with non-Christian friends. I'm so grateful for this resource, and keen to support his continuing work, that I'm very happy to purchase this new edition in physical form. I'm looking forward to the additional resources, and we hope to begin a study group using Cold Case Christianity as a base for discussing Christian apologetics. I also wholeheartedly recommend his podcast of the same name.

A really well written book, concise and clear. It also introduced concepts that had never crossed my mind, like the historical importance of the early church fathers and the value of a chain of custody. J Warner Wallace speaks evenly throughout, encouraging us to grow our minds. Highly recommend whether your a Christian looking to understand your faith better or an agnostic or atheist wishing to hear the historical case for the Gospels.

Cold Case Christianity was a great find. J Warner Wallace writes in a very clear and concise way. No words are wasted, he writes with distinct chapters and headings. It really has given me more confidence in the historicity of the Bible and the book delved into topics I never would have considered about early church fathers and the chain of custody in particular. Highly recommend to anyone looking to know their faith better or anyone simply wishing to hear a reasonable approach to the historicity of the Bible.

This is a brilliant book - our faith is not blind! Sets out very clearly the logical and historical reasons to believe. Very helpful in giving us answers to questions raised by unbelieving friends and family.

I serve as a full-time Evangelist in a post-Christian culture. As I share the good news in the United Kingdom, I find that regular objections will arise to the claims of the Gospels. J. Warner Wallace's book, "Cold Case Christianity", has helped provide the tools, not only to answer the objections but also to share the gospel. I will no doubt be referring back to this book regularly.

Whether you are a Christian or not this book takes an impartial and logical approach to the evidence of the Christian faith. The main benefit of this approach is to test if the claims of Christianity are true. A solid approach is taken in this undertaking. If true, the Christian faith will change everything about ones approach to life

This is a well written, engaging book. The pictures/illustrations are helpful in making key points. The evidence presented is scholarly and should be convincing to an open-minded investigator.

After 10 years, J. Warner Wallace has given us an updated and expanded edition of Cold-Case Christianity. The book is divided into two parts - the first shows the outline of the making of a detective - the principles of investigation, the nature of evidence etc. which he describes from his first-hand experience as a cold-case detective. We already learn about the application of these principles to the Gospel accounts in the first part, but the second part goes a bit deeper into the application of these principles to the Christian claims. It has been expanded by a postscript and afterword, specifically reminding us of the importance of using our skills, whatever they may be, to spread the Good News. Wallace has certainly made and is making use of his! It is all very convincing but also inspiring and refreshing to read. The book has been essential for me on my own faith journey. I would always recommend it, especially to the analytically minded but even for those less so. It can help to hone your skills in terms of evangelism and outreach as the author deals with a lot of questions we will encounter in our culture. I would list the book (even before the updated and expanded edition) amongst the 'Top 10' essential reads for those interested in Christianity and on the cusp of taking it more seriously, those going through a period of doubt, or those who are simply interested in how good the case from an evidential point of view really is for our faith. It will most likely bolster and reinvigorate your faith and reassure you. Alongside Frank Turek, Lee Strobel, Alisa Childers, and others, J. Warner Wallace is one of the great popularisers of the robust evidential and reasonable case we can make for the truth and also the cultural relevance of Christianity. It is also very original in its approach but still rooted in classical evidentialist apologetics., which is really what our culture needs at this moment in time. Thank you for this, I will certainly use the ideas and tools in conversations both with other Christians and non-Christians.

I purchased the first edition 10 years ago; it was so helpful to me, and to those to whom I recommended it. This updated version keeps the same engaging style and great information. Very easy to understand; although dealing with complex issues, there is no complex language. Seeing how the cold-case detective approaches these issues is fascinating. Very highly recommended.
