Martin Goldsmith is a well known writer and speaker on evangelism in the world context. He is well placed to scope the task and to make observations in Get a Grip on Mission reflecting on the new context he observes. This is aptly illustrated in phrases like ‘paper to pixels’ and ‘no pith helmets in the concrete jungle’. Goldsmith goes further though, and stresses that global mission has a new centre of gravity, which is not Western, and suggests we have a lot to learn from people in other parts of the world. Western Christians might have the opportunity to witness when on holiday or on business trips, but the best people to share the Gospel are the locals.
