Evangelism. It's a word that can be viewed with apprehension, misunderstanding or apathy, but it should be a major part of our Christian life. And what is evangelism? Laurence Singlehurst defines it as those who know Jesus, telling those who don't know Jesus, all about him. Which makes it sound a whole lot less intimidating than we often think it will be.

This book will help you tell others about Jesus. It is not full of technical terms and complicated methods but simply explores what it means to sow the seed of faith, to reap the harvest when the seed of faith has taken root and to nurture the faith as it grows: Sow, Reap, Keep.

With these biblical and straightforward steps in mind Laurence guides us through some ways in which we as individuals, groups or churches can go about each of these stages, seeking God's help at every turn.

Evangelism. Don't let the word itself deter you but instead use this book to think through how you can be a sower, reaper and keeper.

"Full of valuable, practical advice." Nicky Gumbel

"Laurence's principles of sowing, reaping, keeping are as important now as they were when this book first appeared. He helps us to move beyond the theory of evangelism to its practice. It is a book we all need to read." Ian Coffey, Senior Minister, Crossroads Church, Geneva

    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

The sub title to the second edition of Laurence Singlehurst’s popular and very useful book Sowing Reaping Keeping may sound like a contradiction in terms to some! ‘People-sensitive evangelism’ is not only a Gospel principle, but also the best practice, says Singlehurst, as he shows us how. Even when using phrases like Engel scale and strategy, he always helps us think of the person and whether they hear ‘good news’. It really is a timely update of a very important principle which is well written and amply illustrated, both from the Bible and from personal experience. It is a good basic introduction to effective evangelism.
