I was lucky to have a copy of this thrust into my hands by the DDO as the author kindly sent our diocese a copy. I have been so blessed by this book (once I finally got around to reading it) - I loved the mix of practical advice, real-life experience from Jules and others, and quotes from inspirational women and the way it is expertly woven through with bible references. There's an excellent reading list by subject at the back as well as a clear bibliography. It's well-written and easy to read in short bursts (perfect for Jesus Jenga Jugglers). Although the author is a CofE the examples given in the book cover a range of church backgrounds, and I think also useful for those for whom ministry doesn't come with a collar, but whose life is not their own due to sacrificial volunteering in any capacity.
