That means the calculus of life is not security but God-driven risk. This kind of thinking means that we approach our families, churches, jobs, free time, hobbies and goals with God’s glory on our mind.
Risky Gospel attempts to wake Christians up from their serenity-seeking coma by grounding their faith not in the world of sin but in the world of Scripture. As we see in the example of Christ and his apostles, the gospel is worth living for, sacrificing for and dying for. It is the fulfillment of everything we seek. All that we could ever want is already here, and it is given to us through the Holy Spirit.
