ACTS of Prayer was born out of the authors’ desire to have a practical and effective resource to enrich their own prayer – and they have created a prayer book with a real difference. Based on the well-known format for prayer A.C.T.S. (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication), it offers a carefully chosen collection of meditations, Bible passages, songs and hymns, both modern and traditional. There are 45 pieces for each of the A.C.T.S. sections, offering variety to stimulate and encourage private prayer, or aid public worship.
