    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

This is a welcome revised edition of a book first published in 1994. In the introduction David Adam tells us: ‘The layout of this book follows the traditional pattern of the Communion service and is meant to be of use to those new to the church: people who have recently come, or come back to Christian commitment, or who have just been confirmed. But it can just as easily be used by those who are seeking to learn prayer or seeking to renew a prayer life that has somehow become too fixed.’ The rest of the introduction, and the introductions to each part, are also well worth reading and will help you as you venture further into this book. The prayers themselves follow the Celtic pattern which David Adam has followed in many books before, simple themes, repetitive and memorable. This book is an excellent resource.
