    I had already used both Gregory Cameron’s Advent and Easter books of days as part of Advent and Lent studies respectively and I have found both beautiful and helpful. A new book of his specifically for prayer seemed an ideal addition to my bookshelf. The prayers, coming from many different centuries, are in some cases familiar whilst others are not. The comments on each by Gregory Cameron are enlightening and the illustrations, as in previous volumes, are delightful. I shall look forward to the second volume of prayers which he is planning.
