I truly believe these words will help someone to focus on setting out on a journey from the chaos of the messes we make in our lives to the safety of freedom.
My hope is that someone will be truly transformed in the presence of God.
The book has two parts. Part one focuses on a kind of conversation between us and God. It is written to help you to focus your prayers on the symptoms of the distress caused by the storms that can come out of the blue in our lifetime. Of course the twenty symptoms I have written about in part one, have come from the Spirit of God and are not exhaustive but they are elements that are broadly experienced by all of us when in distress. Maybe you are struggling with a particular issue right now, or maybe you have clinical depression? Maybe you have lost hope in life or your spirit is at a low ebb? Or, maybe you have lost sight of the purpose that God has ordained for you and need to realign your onward trajectory in life? Part one is designed to help you to shine light on your life right at this moment.

Part two is a series of positive declarations and prayers that you can carry into the future with you. It is written to be a kind of spiritual backpack. You can delve into this backpack at any time to give you positive spiritual focus as you start every day on your life journey. Part two still carries the same elements of a prayer and an answer.
Please use this little book as you feel best suits you. Use it as a devotional, a forty day prayer exercise, or use it to dip in and out as you are prompted to by the Holy Spirit. I pray that you will find comfort, help, guidance and a positive outlook as you read these words that are in truth simple prayers but have a life changing narrative woven into their words.
