Telling the Story: Learning to Teach and Preach like Jesus is Dr. Gary E. Wright's fifty-years-plus life journey, condensed to book form. Dr. Wright first started preaching with his father, Eugene Wright, when he was just a young boy. He learned many lessons from his father, and many other lessons the hard way. Along the way, he realized that there was a perfect example of a teacher and a preacher contained in the Bible: Jesus Christ.

Christ taught His disciples, and His words endure today. Every person who comes to faith in Jesus Christ comes through Christ's own testimony. Christ testified to who He is, and to who we are. He calls us children, heirs, and friends. He provided a pattern and a pedagogy for teaching from a unique perspective. He made us, He knows us better than we know ourselves.
