Another great selection of 12 bible based sessions for use in small groups of children across a genuinely wide range of ages—perfect material in fact for a mixed age Sunday school covering the theme of 'God Rescues'. Like many such books on the topic, we have the obvious studies on Moses and the Exodus in the Old Testament, then we move into the New Testament with the parables as they demonstrate how 'God Rescues' the lost and rejoices in the found. Finally the last four sessions focus on Acts and how sharing the good news with others is us being involved in 'God rescuing' others. As always the sessions are well presented and set out with times, step by step instructions and good background as well as extra idea's if needed. Included within are of course the photocopiable activities, resources and colouring sheets needed to do the full session with the differing aged. A great addition to a really helpful series.
