This is probably more a Boys Only resource, though not solely so, and certainly one that will work very well with any group of lads. Using football to work through the Ten Commandments and church life - after all, its all about Team work! Is an excellent idea and these 12 studies are well thought out and presented. I loved the one using footballers really high salaries to address the issue of Money and how we should relate to it. The penny prayers exercise is fantastic. This would work well in many contexts and with many diverse groups. This is part of an excellent series of Resources for the 9-13 age range, aimed particularly at the periphally churched, it is great stuff. Each resource starts with a great introduction that covers the essentials of Childrens Work first and then looks at why this particular subject is being used. The handouts are photocopiable and the sessions are easy to follow for any leader.
