    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

Here are ten original short stories which do not have an obvious “religious” content, but are loosely based on passages from the Old and New Testaments. There is, for instance, a story about the importance of listening, how to listen to others and to yourself and to God. There is another about the power of forgiveness, one about living in the present and another about the value of personal freedom. All the stories have a contemporary setting with familiar characters and situations and have something to say about life today. They can be read just as stories but for those who want to explore the human content further and its possible religious manifestations, there are notes at the end which expand and comment upon the essential aspects of each story. They also give advice on group study and discussion. Most readers should find something in these stories which resonate with themselves personally.
