    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

This book is an almost word for word study of that famous chapter on love: 1 Corinthians 13. As the title of the book implies, the author’s aim is for Christians to have a greater impact on the people around them. His thesis is that we will do this when we show more Christian love in our lives. Each chapter includes exposition, illustration, application and study questions. Written in an easy style, Wayne Mack is thought provoking and interesting in what he says. The text is enriched with extensive quotes from other writers and many Biblical examples of love. In particular he often refers to the classic book by Jonathan Edwards Charity and its Fruits. Love is a word that is widely used but little understood even by some Christians. Reading this book will help us recover a Biblical perspective on a most vital area of the Christian life. As Paul says, without love we are nothing. If you want to live and love for God’s glory, study 1 Corinthians 13 and read this book.
