For those of us who are very familiar with the Gospel stories, it is great to find a book that gives a new take on Jesus’ encounters and storytelling that helps one to ‘see’ again, for light to shine into the corners of our being that are pretty much in shadow. As the title states, the book focuses on ‘dancing’ with God, joyful, lively interaction and movement. In some of the chapters I was a bit disappointed that the diagrams didn’t lead into a deeper exploration – expected something more and wasn’t sure they contributed much. A book to be read a chapter at a time and reflected upon. I found it hopeful and it stimulated the yearning to see Christ more clearly, love him more dearly and follow him more nearly.
