Many of us do not buy into the concept that our Lord holds an interest in each person as an individual. At the same time, these people see the world as a place of rejection. In 'God Knows Your Name,' Catherine Campbell wants to let you know that amongst a world of rejection, God accepts you.

Campbell invites her readers to look experience a 'personal' God - a God who does not need you to shout loud to be noticed. He will intervene because He knows your name!

    The Good Book Stall

There are times when it’s easy to forget that the Creator of the Universe could love seemingly insignificant you and I and believe us to be infinitely valuable! Catherine Campbell’s third book strives to remind readers of the fact that we are loved and treasured by Christ. The concept is fresh, powerful and vital. Utilizing stories such as Hagar from the Bible and the mistreated Donna of Dublin, Campbell provides excellent illustrations of God’s intervention in each life, faithfully drawing the lost and broken to Himself. A truly engrossing read, this book is a spectacular way to reconnect with the amicability of God. The idea that God is interested in us as individuals is an unfamiliar concept to many, while rejection has become a fact of life. This book encourages the reader to embrace the truth of a personal God; one with whom we do not need to struggle to gain recognition, one who intervenes and acts on our behalf. A God who knows our name! Each of the eight chapters contains two sections, dealing with situations of rejection. Great story-telling is the core quality that Campbell delivers ably from the Bible narrative, explaining how God stepped in to change situations and revealing how important these people were to Him. The second, connecting story, tells of present day individuals in similar circumstances and how God also positively intervened in their lives. These are true stories, using carefully researched material for authenticity and accuracy. It gave me renewed confidence that God Himself knows me and really cares for my day to day life with all its challenges. Pacey and warmly compelling!

It?s very difficult to put into words just how deeply this book has touched my life during the past weeks. It gave me again and again the deep confidence that God Himself knows me and really cares for my day to day life with all it's challenges. I do hope there is more to come from Catherine in the near future!
