"An Anglican curate was brought to a place of desperation. "He was aware that he didn't have the answers to the major spiritual needs that surrounded him. Wonderfully, God revealed to him the true implications of Galatians 2:20. "He didn't expect me to live for Him; He was wanting to live His life in me and live His life out through me." – Norman Meeten

A New Song is packed with captivating testimonies of unique individuals whose lives were impacted by God through the ministry of men such as Mr G.W. North, Norman Meeten and Dave Wetherly. Witness the incredible faithfulness of God over those who have walked in step with the direction, power and authority of the Holy Spirit.

This book traces the origins and development of the House Fellowship movement, as it spontaneously emerged in the middle of the twentieth century, starting in the backstreets of Liverpool and spreading throughout the United Kingdom. A prophetic vision was outworked as lives were transformed, eventually reaching out to well over seventy nations around the globe."

Having been involved in this church movement for 50+ years it is fascinating to read about many of my contemporaries, 're-connect' with others, and learn about still many more - constantly unveiling fresh and interesting information and to see an amazing ground-breaking work of God.

A very well written book that is truly inspiring. It traces this particular house church movement from its humble beginnings to towns and cities across the UK. I was very blessed and encouraged to read how the Lord used ordinary men and women who were filled with the Spirit to touch so many lives with His love.It was also thrilling to read the testimonies of many folks whose lives were changed and blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ and hear about the miracles that took place in the early days of the Fellowships. After reading the book A New Song I was reminded of a verse in Zechariah' do not despise the day of small things'. Small beginnings are seen, cherished and blessed by God Himself. I whole heartedly recommend this book it will bless you, encourage you and inspire faith.

Wonderful true account of Gods work in the “fellowship” churches. One of the main figures in this movement is portrayed here: Norman Meeten, an Anglican Curate who sought the Lord and allowed Him to work through his life to amazing results and transformation in the lives of others. The legacy of this life and many others is told in wonderful detail in this book. Highly recommended reading!
