"Diana Chapman brings us ‘Britain’s Spiritual Inheritance’ a book that completes two main purposes. First, it retells the history of Christian revivals in Britain, informing us of their nature, their leaders and their impact. Second, it encourages readers to be anticipating more revivals ...and to be excited and prepared."

Here I will give a little insight into the person behind ‘Britain’s Spiritual Inheritance’: Diana Chapman.

Diana Chapman has lived a varied life that has seen her enter into, and contribute to a number of areas of ministry. Diana completed a Masters degree in Mission at the University of Wales before serving as a missionary in Uganda for three years.

She has conducted extensive research into the history of British revivals, which has led her to write two books: first, ‘Searching the Source of the River, The Forgotten Women of the British Pentecostal Revival’ - which gives backgrounds on and impacts of notable women revivalists, and second, this book: ‘Britain’s Spiritual Inheritance’.

Diana teaches extensively both in the UK and abroad. She is part of training teams from River Church, Windsor that equip people to do mission.

“Britain’s Spiritual Inheritance is an important book—a very important book. Diana Chapman has successfully captured the burning embers of past moves of God and embedded them onto these pages. Be prepared to burn in your heart. I can’t imagine any other outcome.” BILL JOHNSON (from the foreword) Senior Pastor, Bethel Church, Redding, CA.

Britain’s history is full of the stories of great men and women of God who saw Him move powerfully in their day. This is our heritage, but more than that, it is a spiritual inheritance that belongs to us – and it is time to claim back what the enemy has stolen.

Join the author on a journey of discovery as she tells some of the stories and explores what it means to ‘redig’ the wells of revival and understand our spiritual inheritance.

This is an exciting book with a real WOW factor! In her survey of Britain's revival history Diana Chapman conveys, in very readable form, the remarkable ways in which God has intervened in our national history. Britain's historic inheritance is its relationship with the God who acts in history and society. Here are the stories of men and women in many generations who heard the voice of God, acted on what they heard, and transformed society with the Gospel. The author demonstrates that the age of revival is not dead; that God has done great things in our history and that it can happen again. God is always willing, always able. There is only one response to this important book, "Lord, do it again!" This book should be read and reread. Read it and be both challenged and inspired.
