This title has taken a while to come to my attention, but it is such a worthwhile read! I am happy to endorse the sub-title The Essential Guide to the Persecuted Church. this is far more than a listing of places we might expect to be included. It is a discussion of the meaning of persecution and what it can involve, a world wide view, place by place, of persecution that occurs and then chapters on what we should and just as importantly should not do about it. In his foreward Brother Andrew of the charity Open Doors says ‘In this book you will receive the best global overview of the persecuted church with all its stresses and strains and needs.....’ I took a while to read through Faith That Endures; I needed to think over each short passage I read but it is such an important subject for all Christians to address now, not just when it is forced onto our attention by events.
