This book was originally published in 1991 and is now updated to address the call to Women as well as Men. I found it an absorbing read, as Francis Dewar speaks from his own experience and addresses many aspects of calling, not solely to the ordained ministry as so many would expect. He stresses that the ordained ministry is only for the few with that particular calling. A call to serve God, can be to serve Him in your normal life but maybe in a particular way that you have not addressed before. He gives helpful examples and encouragement to us all to listen and find what our individual calling might be. I was particularly impressed with this book which needs to be read by all Christians either for encouragement or reassurance.
