One Lord, One Faith contains an extensive selection of material for ecumenical worship. Service out­lines, varying in their degree of formality, are designed to encourage com­munities to gather together for wor­ship across traditional boundaries.

Drawing on the best of tradi­tional and modern music, Stuart Thomas, Ecumenical Officer to the Guildford Diocese, has devised services which can easily be adapted to meet the individual needs of the com­munity. All the main festivals of the Christian year are covered, along with occasions such as the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, Remembrance, Harvest and New Year.

Over the past three decades, there has been con­siderable progress towards unity in wor­ship and this book helps congregations to further achieve this.
