Emerging Remnants encapsulates what I see as the current emphasis of God to His Church in these ultimate days of mortal existence. This current divine mind has taken a while to crystallize into our spiritual clime, as is usual with the processes of truth. However, we have arrived at the stage of this truth where cliches like \"The last day army,\" \"the last great move of God,\" and \"the final revival,\" etc., have taken hold of the Church with Babel of confusing perspectives. 1 Corinthians 14:8 (NKJV) - \"For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare himself for battle?\" This book is a certain sound of the trumpet, which has the capacity to both arouse and stir this generation for battle. It sparks with clarity all through its pages. There is a bigger purpose to (your) life- it is not all about you; it is all about God. This life is a dress rehearsal to the real life that is yet to come. Assessment of true life should be from unseen values. We are on a journey in and to God, from the day we embraced the grace of God in Christ. This journey has a destination: it is not endless. As we approach the end, process has to become more precise, exact and adjusted properly by the destination. Options are less tolerated - the trajectory of my personal life, ministry initiatives and activities, leadership structure, etc., must all become more exact and more correct. This little book in your hand can make your entire life (priority, pursuit, emphasis) more precise, exact and accurately adjusted to line up with our destination. \"The bride must make herself ready for her wedding.\" It requires far more than just joining the bandwagon of proclaimers, who seldom even understand the content of their proclamation and its ramification. Fred takes us through the grasping of the context and content of the current emphasis of God, through the rudiments of the requirements to be enlisted in the army, to what the task ahead of us is and where the battlefield really is. Old religious stereotypes, rigid categorizations, and fossilised revelation parameters, are issues that we must confront and be delivered from in order to be enlisted in this army. The hardest area of death to self is death to old fossilised religious positions; however, it is the true path to a new day in God. I strongly recommend this book to every serious minded believer who genuinely desires to see the glory of the latter house eclipsing that of the former. Out of the ashes of our dying today, we will see the breaking forth of a brand new day.
