Friedrich Rest is currently associate pastor of First Protestant Church, New Braunfels, Texas, and has many years of active service behind him in churches, youth camps, media committees, and as a member of various councils. Friedrich Rest received degrees from Elmhurst College, Eden Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate from United Theological Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. Married to Dorothy Evelyn (nee Schumacher) they have three adult children.
