Starting with the vision set out in A Theology of Women's Priesthood for a priesthood of both sexes working in partnership, Alison Green looks at how a theology built on sexual difference manifests itself in the life and ministry of practising priests and those to whom they minister.

    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

The impartiality and breadth of God's call to ministry is explored well here. Ali Green asserts with wisdom that it is only, “when we are comfortable with ourselves, our ministry will grow....!” Here holistic understanding, story, theology and raw data are woven well and warmly in this engagingly inclusive volume. Green explores the impact on the Church of gender, ministry and priesthood in an innovative and thought-provoking way. Here is a wellspring of help and encouragement for women and men who are called to work together at all levels of Christian leadership, with my particular favourite being the anecdotal content that embodies deep truth and ministry hopefulness. I would have loved more biblical content and the celebration of the differences, boasted in the subtitle. Feminine nuances, unity, diversity and what true togetherness means lies at the heart of this writing. Inspiring!
