When we turn to God in prayer we often find it is not nearly as daunting or complicated as we first thought. So why is it when prayer is mentioned many Christians feel guilt, failure and confusion?

Bold as I approach looks into the struggles and splendours of prayer through six thought-provoking and motivating Bible studies. Providing greater insight into how to pray, when to pray and why we pray.

An ideal study book for individuals and small groups. Also included is an appendix of practical advice from Professor D. A. Carson.

This book is an excellent aid. It is well presented. It is very clear and concise and allows the reader to do the 'digging' through Scripture with relevant texts. It clarifies a lot of misconceptions about prayer and reminds of the God with whom we can have a relationship through Christ and of His desire to hear our prayer.

A step on from many group studies. Instead of questions, whose answers are easily found in the text or recommended readings, this provides topics to look at or comment on and questions which make one think a little deeper.
