To say that I’ve been looking forward to receiving this Bible would be an understatement. I’ve held off on sending a review because I wanted to give it some fair use before doing so. Construction: It is really well put together. The cover feels like it’ll outlast me. The paper is thick and opaque, easy to turn. I have no concerns that this won’t take a beating. Text/Print: The font is clear and consistent. The text is verse by verse and well spaced. The cross/chain references are smaller than the scripture text, but still easily useable. The updated layout shows that due care has been given to bring the Thompson Chain into the 21st century. All the Bible helps in the back really pop out and will benefit my personal study for years to come. Tongue-in-cheek Criticism: My only thought is that I don’t think I’ll be able to fully exhaust this resource. There is just so much in here. Summary: If you haven’t used a TCR before, this is the one to get. A lovely Bible for a lifetime of study. Enjoy it and treasure it; I know for sure that I am.
