Creative Ideas for Children's Worship by Sarah Lenton, features a whole year's worth of activities and ideas complete with artwork and visual aids. The book makes a fantastic resource for educationalists, artists and experienced Children's church leaders. The fun ideas in the book will allow children to encounter a real aspect of the Christian faith that focuses on themes that can be found in the Gospel of the day that the book features. The book is illustrated throughout the text and artwork appears on the accompanying CD Rom in full colour for downloading and printing or copying.

Creative Ideas for Children's Worship features simple children's liturgies and a complete lesson or story plan that harmonizes with what the adults are doing in church on the same day. The book features a variety of activities that are designed for large groups of children or single groups of mixed ages.

    The Good Book Stall

Not quite what it says on the label but the pictures around the front tell the story: This is Children’s Church, worship within already defined parameters which is not necessarily a bad thing but won’t suit everybody. The contents are traditional with a twist, structured but fun. The scripts which are very good can be adapted; I would probably use this as a resource for family services. I suggest the scripts might be useful for sermon writers suffering from writer’s block. The whole feel is that of something urban: urban children, urban church. The services as written may be too structured for children’s work in rural parishes but are still adaptable.
